Cilantro 'Confetti'

$4.50
Sold Out

Pre-order for local pick-up available as early as April 15.

‘Confetti’ is a fern-leaf cilantro that is wonderful to add in all cooking as if you were using a traditional cilantro. ‘Confetti’ cilantro has traditional flavor, with the added benefit of interest, and some say, a more pleasant texture to eat. I would agree! Read up on cilantro below!

Height & Spread: ~16”

A Note from the Grower

Cilantro is a strong flavor that is always lacking in a recipe if left out. It’s a shame to leave it out, so make sure that you have some for the picking from your fresh herb selection! Traditionally, I have grown cilantro in a succession row planting system, harvesting the whole plant to the base before it flowers, allowing the next row to grow up. BUT, believe it or not, cilantro can be harvested in a way to allow regrowth for future harvests from the same plant. Read up on harvest methods in the Plant Guide. Regardless, if you use large amounts at a time in recipes, I suggest planting several plants. You have plenty to choose from on the Plant Bus this year! Have some fun with a lemon cilantro or a fern-leaf cilantro.
