‘Midnight Snack’ has earned its spot in my catalog! Another All-America Selection winner, this tomato develops indigo coloring on areas of the tomato that are exposed to sunlight. Plant with one or two other cherry varieties, and you’ll have a colorful mix. I am telling you, these are so delectable to snack on that few made it into my house. Plants are indeterminate. A Note from the Grower
Cherry tomatoes are my favorite tomato to grow because they’re such cute and versatile fruit—a snack packed with nutrients and sweetness. Because currant, cherry and grape tomatoes often run together in size, blurring the lines, I am going to call this category snack tomatoes. That’s what they are!
Snack tomatoes may be towering pillars of work, but there is nothing like stepping out to the garden and popping a sweet bite-size tomato into your mouth. Plus, it’s the best way to get kids interested in tomtaoes!
